Unfortunately, in my mother's side (Tsapoitis family) there are females named Eleni who are also distant relatives of yours; affecting your family tree.
Perhaps the confudion has been introduced by other family trees or confused relatives.
Two of my Tsapoitis uncles had daughters named Eleni (or Helen) following the tradition of giving the mother's name. The granddaughter got her yiayia's name.

The uncles are:
George Tsapoitis, son of Konstantinos Tsapoitis. George left Greece (single) and died in Islip, Long Island. He had a daughter Eleni who (most likely) got married to Christos K. Papagiannakos who had immigrated (or visited) Montreal Canada. [My note: This is not the Eleni whom Peter Pappas said married his brother Christos]

Christos Tsapoitis, also son of Konstantinos Tsapoitis, immigrated to Montreal Canada with his family in the early 1950s. He also had a daughter Eleni. Christos returned to Greece where he died in Sparti. Two of his children Eleni and Efstratios (Steve) moved to New York; Steve with his family. My coudin Panagos Tsapoitis has recently informed me that Eleni (daughter of Christos) was married to Stelios Lerikos and lived in New York. Stelios Lerikos had a sister living in Agios Ioannis, named Flora, who died recently.

O am sure that both Elenis had children but I have not tried to find out about them. There are too many Tsapoitis. I recently have met some of them in Toronto; they are originating from Magoula.

Note: the name Tsapoitis was taken from a village in Arcadia (near Megalopolis) named Tsapoga or Tsiapoga. The family moved to Magoula. My maternal grandfather Konstantinos (son of Grorge) was born in Magoula but moved to Agios Ioannis where he had two marriages and children from both. Other Magoula born Tsapoitis children had families in Magoula and Kladas. It is very difficult to follow them in Canada and New York and Greece.

In the early 1960s, before I left Greece, another Tsapoitis lady (in her late sixties) showed up in Athens, apparently a relative. She had lived a great life in Turkey (Smyrna?) and later in New York. I had seen photos of hers; a real beauty. She never married but she was a mistress of one (or more?) rich men. She died alone in Athens late 1960s. I have no idea whose child she was.
