John Nicholas Morfogen

(5 Oct 1934 - 4 Feb 2016)

From Stratis Morfogen on Facebook post:
John my father - Peter & George Morfogen, brothers. They went to Lafayette High. They had the restaurant Chelsea House. My father and his brothers worked at the Pappas Restaurant on Emmons Avenue and they left and opened Chelsea Chop House 8 blocks away in 1956. I opened Brooklyn Chop House in tribute to my dad and brothers. This was when the 4 partners splintered off. This Pappas Restaurant was owned I believe by James Morfogen and Chris Pappas. Paul and Sam Morfogen created Pappas on 14th. My grandfather Nick worked w them years later.
