Occupation

Grigorios and his wife. Eleni, own a taverna which is on the same property as their house in Agios Ioannis ( St. Johns), Sparta. Carol and Gary Petranek had dinner at their taverna during our visit in June 1996. They are very friendly and kind people who work very hard.

Death

Email from Georgios Kostakos to Carol Petranek, May 4, 2013: In case you have not heard about it, the family had a big loss recently, with the passing of Grigoris Kostakos, son of Panorea and Panos. Grigoris had been on oxygen supply for months if not years, as his lungs were failing fast. Thank God he had the opportunity to meet his granddaughter, child of his son Panos and Natassa.
