Mineola, June 19 - Three Freeport youths and one from Roosevelt were released on probation yesterday, their jail terms suspended by Judge Cortland A. Johnson in County Court here, after they had pleaded guilty to charges that they assaulted Walter Blaile here on Jan. 6.
The youths were Alfred Anzalone, 20, laborer, of 36 Powell St., Roosevelt; Joseph Chimeri, 18, clerk of 29 Seaman Ave.; Nicholas Laricos, 19, laborer of 127 Broadway, and Rocco Valenti, 22, chuaffeur of 11 Pine St., al of Freeport.

Nassau Daily Review-Star, Monday, September 11, 1944Miss Silipo Bride of Sergeant Laricos
Announcement was made today of the marriage of Miss Felicia Maria Silipo, daughter of Mrs. Hyacinth Silipo and the late Mr. Silipo, of East Dean Street, Freeport, and Sergeant Nicholas Laricos, of Harding Place, Freeport, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Laricos. The ceremony took place August 15, at the Greek Orthodox Church of Jamaica.
The bride, who was given in marriage by her brother, Fortunate Silipo, wore a white street-length gown of lace and net with a shoulder veil caught with gardenias and a corsage of gardenias. Miss Angela Cotiginola of Freeport, was maid of honor, and George Semetus of Brooklyn was best man for Sergeant Laricos. Both are graduates of Freeport High school. After a two weeks' wedding trip the bride returned to her home, and her husband, to Camp Polk, La., where he is stationed with the infantry.

Laricos-Silipo
The wedding of Miss Felicia Maria Silipo, daughter of Mrs. Nettie Silipo of 12 East Dean Street, Freeport, and Sgt. Nicholas John Laricos, U.S.A. of 47 Harding Place, Freeport, took place on Tuesday at St. Demetrius Greek Orthodox Church, Jamaica. The Rev. Michael Andreades officiated at the ceremony, which was followed by a small reception for the immediate families at the home of the bride. Fortunate Silipo gave his sister in marriage. She was attended by Miss Angela Cotignola of Freeport as maid of honor. George Peter Semetis of Brooklyn was best man. The couple will make their home in Freeport until the bridegroom's furlough is over and he returns to Camp Polk, La.
