Obituary
Louis Kallianis
Services will be conducted at 1 PM tomorrow at the Lytwyn & Lytwyn Home for Services, 801 Springfield Ave., Irvington, for Louis Kallianis of 3 Wayland Dr., Verona, who died Tuesdat at home, at the age of 73. Church services at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, Newark, will follow at 2 o'clock. Born in Greece, Mr. Kallianis came to this country in 1897 and lived in Lynn, Mass., before coming to Newark in 1920. He owned a restaurant in Newark, from which he retired in 1937. Mr. and Mrs. Kallianis, who moved to Verona in May, 1955, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in Julyh of that year. Mr. Kallianis was a member of St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church. Mr. Kallianis leaves his wife, Eugenia; two sons, Theodore and Chris, of Verona; six daughters, Mrs. Antigone Juvelis of Washington, D.C., Mrs. Rita Xenofanes of Newark, Mrs. Christine Yynard, of Washington, D.C., Mrs. Georgia Malis of Manchester, Conn., Mrs. Katharine Perros of Washington, D.C., Mrs. Alice Anagnostis of East Orange; thirteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
