Unknown Maybe John MCCOY

Dortha F. Greenlee wrote through the McCoy list on 21 Aug 2009 that she has John McCoy married to Margaret McKinley but had no date or place. Her husband descends from Daniel McCoy who married Rachel Zumwalt. After getting her note, I was able to find on line a marriage date and place. There is a marriage bond filed at Carlisle, Cumberland Co., PA, dated 14 Aug 1761 for John McCoy to Margaret McKinley. Bondsmen were Joseph Galbriath and Thomas Park. Witnesses were John Nicklson and Harms Alricks. History of that area shows the McCoy men had the right given names to be of this family - Daniel, John as well as Robert. There was an Alexander McKee and there were McConnell, Robinson, Dunbar and Hughes as well, all surnames associated with the McCoys in St. Charles Co., MO.
If this is the right couple, there should be more children born before 1770 and either Zachariah doesn't belong to this family or he was an early child.
NOTE: It is unlikely that the John McCoy who married Margaret McKinley is the correct one, if for no other reason than that the marriage date of 1761 would mean she was in her late 40s when she gave birth to the three youngest children - Joseph, Margaret and James. We know that Joseph was about 14 years younger than John and if there are two children younger than Joseph, it is more likely that their parents married shortly before 1770, which is when the youngest probable child of theirs was born. That would give about a 24 year child-bearing span for the mother. It is also likely that Sarah/Sally is a child of this family because she was in Missouri where they were.
Were both parents dead by the time Joseph, John and James came to St.Charles County? That seems the most likely explanation since Joseph and James were young, possibly not even in their teens at that time.If the parents were in MO, it seems odd that none of the histories mention that they brought their family to MO.
