Genell Marie Taylor age 70, of Malvern, passed away Sunday, August 10, 2014. She was born May 3, 1944 in Porterville CA to the late Chester and Ellen Hooper Landers. She was a retired cook having work for J.J."s Truck Stop and Mel's Dairy Bar for many years. She loved being around her family and her grandchildren, and working in her flower beds. Genell was of the Baptist faith. Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her daughter Rhonna Toler and her brother Roger Landers.
Survivors are her children: Ricky (Jordan) Shuffield of Oklahoma City OK, Michael Taylor of Bryant, Ranee (Jessie) Hopson of London AR, Robin (Donald) Hughes of Malvern, Kristy Taylor of Malvern, sisters: Diana Roach of Shelbyville TN, Debbie Rachal of CA, Cheryl Landers of CA, Mary Carrelles of CA, and Kathy Martinez of CA, 14 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Tuesday August 12, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am with services to follow at 11:00am, at Regency Funeral Home Chapel with Melvin Efird officiating.
