Obituary obtained from Archie Landers is not dated and does not have the name of the newspaper. Most probably it is Porterville Recorder. It says: "Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday at Hillcrest Cemetery for Ellen Marie Rounds Landers who died of a sudden illness Wednesday in a Lynwood hospital.
Mrs. Landers, 57, lived in Porterville for many years prior to moving to South Gate in 1981. She was a homemaker and a native of Arkansas.
She is survived by a son, Roger of Norwalk; six daughters, Genell Shuffield of Malvern, Ark., Diana Roach of Chino, Debbie Landers of South Gate, Cheryl Landers of Los Angeles, Mary Ellen Rounds of Lynwood and Kathy Ann Rounds of Bellflower; two brothers, Clarin Hooper of Washington, D.C., and Jim Hooper of Garden Grove; two sisters, Betty Duke of Shreveport, La, Sammie Spratlin of Canoga Park; her mother, Mrs. Ruth Hooper of Canoga Park; 18 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Rev. Dr. W. H. Dietz of First Church of Nazarene will officiate. Myers Chapel is in charge of arrangements."
