Caverly, 1782, said: Elijah Adams married Ruth, daughter of Elder E. Rich, and resided some years on the farm which has been mentioned as first improved by Abraham Owen, Sen., (O. Smith place,) then occupied for a few years the farm which had been improved by Richard Hendee, (Willis place,) but finally moved to Buffalo, N.Y.
