ROBERT M. FULKER
Robert M. Fulker, 91, of Piqua, died at 9:20 pm Thursday June 27, 2013 at the Upper Valley Medical Center. He was born December 31, 1921 in Piqua to the late Hobart A. and Ruth (Duncan) Fulker. He married Betty L. Stichter May 25, 1944; she preceded him in death July 24, 1993.
Survivors include a son Robert L. Fulker of Piqua; a daughter Karen (Tom) MacKellar of Lake Worth, Florida; six grandchildren; and many great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Fulker.
Mr. Fulker was a 1941 graduate of Piqua Central High School and retired from Chrysler AirTemp as a Purchasing Agent. He was a United States Army veteran having served during World War II. He was a member of the Congregational Christian United Church of Christ, Warren Masonic Lodge #24, the American Legion Post #184, V.F.W. Post 4874, and the Covington Fraternal Order of the Eagles Lodge.
A service to honor his life will begin at 11:00 am Tuesday July 2, 2013 at the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home with Rev. William R. Hewitt officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery where full military honors will be provided by the Veterans Elite Tribute Squad. His family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 am Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, 1120 G Street, Suite 700, Washington DC, 20005.
