"ROBERT FRIDLUND
Robert "Bob" Fridlund, a resident of Porterville, died there Monday,June 14, 2004. He was 71.
A service will be hald at 11 a.m. Monday at the First PresbyterianChurch in Lindsay with the Rev. Dr. Thomas Eslon, officiating.
Interment will be at Lindsay Cemetery in Lindsay.
Mr. Fridlund was a native of Sioux City, Iowa and a resident ofPorterville for 52 years. He served in the U. S. Marines during theKorean Conflict and was employed as a bioanalyst for 45 years. He wasa member of the First Presbyterian Church, the Porterville ExchangeClub and American Legion Post 20 in Porterville.
He is survived by his wife, Loretta Fridlund of Porterville; fourdaughters, Laura Matthews of Davis, Diane Fridlund of Santa Cruz, KariBridsley of Sherwood, Oregon and Joyce Becker of Choco; four sons,Bryan Fridlund of Yucaipa, Scott Fridlund of Kingsburg, Keith Fridlundof Henderson, Nev. and Eric Fridlund of Porterville; one brother,Richard Fridlund of Montrose, Colo.; one sister, Phyllis Webster ofLindsay; and seven grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to First Presbyterian ChurchMemorial Fund at 351 East Hermosa Avenue, Lindsay, CA 93247.
Whitehurst Loyd Funeral Service in Porterville is in charge ofarrangements."
