History of Tulare County by Kathleen Edwards Small, v. 1, S. J.Clarke, 1926, page 138/139, has a mention of Al Fletcher, an artistwho was residing at that time in the Deep Creek district. It statesthat he was an "ardent Southern sympathizer".

One memo received from Anna Salierno has his middle name as Monroe,not Moore.
