Obituary/death notice in the Stockton Journal 1 Mar 1888, copied from the microfilm at the State Historical Library at Columbia, MO:
" J. H. Wooley had the misfortune to lose his companion, who died on the night of the 22d and was laid to rest in the Lindley Prairie cemetery Friday. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. Darby, of the M. E. church, of which she was a member. Mrs. Wooley was a good woman and the husband has the sympathy of the entire community in his affliction."
