Note that a deed in Prince William Co., VA, in Deed Book Z pages 488-493, dated 4 Oct 1779 has this: Thomas and Elizabeth Davis are selling land to John McMillian, 58 acres, that is part of the tract that Thomas Davis purchased from Benjamin Cooper and Ann his wife, to which said Ann the land was devised by Warrington Spiller, her father.It notes that the Last Will and Testament of the said Spiller is duly recorded among the Records of said County Court. While not proven that this Warrington Spiller was her father, it is probable and she is being tentatively entered as such.
