Benjamin Franklin Cook

He attended school at Antioch, enlisted in 3 month service but was not called up. In Nov. 1861 (?) he became a member of Co. C. 60th OVI and after 3 months was transferred to Co. H. serving as Sgt. for one year. He was present at the Battle of Cross Keys and Harpers Ferry in which battles he was taken prisoner and after 3 days was paroled and sent to th camp at Chicago. He came home, his term of service being expired.
