Elma raised Bronze Turkeys for market. She was also the Publisher and authorized agent of Turkey World, a magazine devoted exclusively to the turkey industry. The subscription fro the magazine was one dollar per year. Published 12 times a year it covered every phase of turkey raising and marketing. The official organization of National Bourbon Red Turkey Club; Southwestern Turkey Club; National White Holland Turkey Club, International Turkey Show: and National Bronze Turkey Club.
