Notes
Military
Ezra enlists for 3 years with Captain Isaac Fry's Company in the 3d New Hampshire Regiment commanded by Col Alexander Scammell. He is listed as being from Mason, NH which is immediatly adjacent to Temple.Death
Died in the War(See Ref:R1925). Ezra is listed as 'died', ie., not 'killed' suggesting he may have died from wounds after a battle or died of illness. The NH 3rd Regiment had wintered in Valley Forge 19 Dec 1777 to 19 Jun 1778. Some of the NH 3rd Regiment wasinvolved in th Battle of Monmouth 28 Jun 1778. No indication that Ezra was in that particular battle. Considering that his father 'David' received Ezra's payment for service it is not likely that Ezra was married.
