Individual Details
(13 Oct 1737 - 19 Feb 1813)
Valentine Ranck was disowned by his parents, according to family legend, because he married a Mennonite girl, Anna Breidenstein. While this is unverified, Valentine's children were baptized at the Zeltenreich Reformed Church. The Daughters of the American Revolution list Valentine as serving as a private in 1780. He resided on the south side of the Welsh Mountains on Meadville Road.
