Henry Angle McComas

Henry McComas was an insurance agent. Before going into the insurance business, he worked in merchantile store and served as an assistant grain inspector at the Port of Baltimore. His insurance firm was H. A. McComas & Co. He also was a founder and treasurer for the Hagerstown Building and Loan Association. Henry was a director of the Washington County Manufacturing Association and the Hagerstown Agricultural and Mechanical Fair Association. In addition, he was a director of the Baltimore and Cumberland Valley Railroad.
