Johannes Hiestand

Johannes Hiestand, along with his brother Jacob, landed in Philadelphia on 16 October 1727 aboard the Friendship of Bristol. He warranted 150 acres in present-day Manor Township on 23 June 1741, and patented the property on 17 August 1741. Johannes signed the Declaration of Loyalty on 1 April 1728, but never became a British citizen.
