Henrich Landis Senior
(Abt 1700 - Nov 1760)
Preacher Heinrich Landis, Sr. emigrated in 1717 with his parents. He was ordained a Mennonite minister at Hammer Creek by 1744. He warranted 147 acres in Warwick Township on 8 January 1733. On 20 December 1753, he bought land from his brother, Benjamin, in Manheim Township. In 1755 he and Anna, his wife, donated one acre of the land Anna had inherited from her father, Hans Graff, for the Groffdale Mennonite Meetinghouse and Cemetery.
