Elizabeth Eichenberg's death day is given as the 7th on page 232 and as the 26th on page 19 in Charles Ikenberry and W. Lewis Eikenberry's book on the Peter Eichenberg Family. The difference may come from who wrote the different sections of the Peter Eichenberg Family book. Wayne St. Clair Bowman is the author of the section on the Bowmans that includes page 232.Marriage
John Bowman, Sr. and Elizabeth Eichenberg may have been married in 1782 in Franklin County, Virginia, or in 1780 at Conestoga Township, Pennsylvania. No sources were given for either of these dates and places on the web site.If the information that John Jr. was born in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania in 1783 is accurate, then the parents likely were wed in Pennsylvania.
