I was born July 23, 1955 in Forsyth, Montana and grew up on my parents' farm in
Rosebud, Montana. I graduated from Rosebud High School in 1973 and attended
college at MSU in Bozeman. I married Philip Mark Evans on Oct. 19, 1974 in
Forsyth, Montana. Phil was born Oct. 9, 1950 in Bozeman, Montana. Phil
graduated from MSU in Bozeman in 1974. We lived in Rapid City, South Dakota and
worked as greens superintendent for the Elks Lodge Golf Course until November
197 when we moved to Rosebud to help manage the Blue Spruce Cafe in Forsyth
which my parents had purchased in November 1975. In 1980 we built a house on
the farm in Rosebud and lived there until the fall of 1986 when a storm washed
out a dam on Sand Creek above the house and caused the banks of the creek to
wash away almost taking the house with it. We moved the house north of Forsyth
amd lived there until the Blue Spruce Cafe was sold in 1994. We have two
children. Brandy Lee Evans was born in Miles City, Montana on August 2, 1981
and Brent Philip Evans was born in Miles City on October 3, 1984. We currently
live in Laurel, Montana where we purchased the Dairy Queen in October of 1994.
