Anke Margarethe Jacobs
(11 Apr 1829 - 1868)
Harm, Anke, and their four children left Germany in 1868. Their daughter Magdalena had died before they left. The voyage lasted 56 days. It was a very stormy crossing and many of the passengers had dysentery including Anke. She landed, but died in Dubuque of pneumonia on the way to Monticello.
