Individual Details

Mary Frymire

(Nov 1849 - 1935)

While the menfolk were busy with the ranching work, Mary
had also been very busy as the pioneer homemakers had so
many tasks to do. Cooking for her family and all the hired help was a full time job, plus in true pioneer spirit, every passer-by was welcome to meals and to spend the night. When a neighbor, Mrs. Gust Regnier, died, the Jones family took the baby, Gertrude, to raise and educate as their own.
