Hattie married Benjamin Guizlo on October 13, 1892, in Burlingame, Kansas. They had two sons and two daughters. When they lived in Burlingame, she was a member of the Baptist Church.
Hattie and her husband moved to Macksville about 1899, where he was an employee of the Santa Fe. She was a past matron of Rose of Sharon Chapter Order of Eastern Star of Macksville.

Mrs. Hattie Guizlo, with her two little daughters, arrived here a few days ago from Maxwell, this state, and are at the home of her sister, Mrs. L. E. Duval, being called here on account of Mrs. Duval's illness. Mr. Guizlo is agent for the Santa Fe at Maxwell.
