Nathaniel Lovejoy

(8 Aug 1759 - 15 May 1849)

Nathaniel was sent to Charlestown to be educated and later maintained the Lovejoy Ferry established by his father on the Kennebec at Sidney, Me (Lovejoy 115). Nathaniel was blind during the latter days of his life, as were his father and grandmother before him.
