Death
CHINA GROVE — Sarah Furr Miller, 63, of 190 Homer Corriher Road died Friday, Oct. 25, 1991, at Rowan Memorial Hospital. The funeral will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Grace Lutheran Church with the Rev. Gene Bost officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The body will remain at Linn-Honeycutt Funeral Home where the family will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today. Memorials may be made to Grace Lutheran Church, 3020 Grace Church Road, Salisbury, N.C. 28144. Born Sept. 25, 1928, in Moore County, she was a daughter of the late Allison Weaver Furr Sr. and Nettie Keziah Furr. A 1945 graduate of China Grove High School, she was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, where she belonged to the Ivy Basinger Sunday School Class. A homemaker, she was previously employed in the sheet department of Cannon Mills, Plant 1. Survivors include her husband, Albert Lee Miller; two sons, Teddy Miller of Salisbury and Kenneth Miller of Rockwell; four daughters, Diane Goodnight of Salisbury, Karen Gibbs of Marietta, Ga., Angela Drye of Kannapolis, and Tammy Miller of Concord; three brothers, Rodney Furr of Danville, Va., Paul Furr of Kannapolis, and A.W. Furr Jr. of Stone Mountain, Ga.; two sisters, Carolyn Taylor of Salisbury and Louise McAbee of Kannapolis, seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.Endnotes
