Death
Mr. Luther C. Furr, 84, of Route 2, Box 102, Fort Mill, S.C., died Friday. Funeral is 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Pineville Church of the Nazarene, Pineville. Burial will be in Lucy Helms Cemetery, Monroe. McEwen West Chapel is in charge. Mr. Furr was employed by Pet Dairies for about 20 years. He was a member of Pineville Church of the Nazarene. Survivors are wife, Leona of Fort Mill; sons, Billy Furr of Monroe, Bobby Furr of Fort Mill; daughter, Mrs. John Whiteside of Fort Mill; half brothers, Henry Furr of Fort Mill, Winslow Furr, Merry Furr, Eugene Furr, all of Tampa, Marion Furr of Ashland, Va.; 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchilren. Memorials can be made to Pineville Church of the Nazarene, N.C.The Charlotte Observer, Charlotte, North Carolina, April 28, 1984
