Death
Mrs. Leona H. Furr, 76, of Route 2, Fort Mill, S.C., died Saturday at Presbyterian Hospital. Funeral is 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Pineville Church of the Nazarene, where she was a member. Burial will be in the Lucy Helms Cemetery in Union County. Mrs. Furr, a native of Cabarrus County, was a homemaker. Survivors are sons, Billy Furr of Monroe, Bobby Furr of Fort Mill; daughter, Mrs. John Whiteside of Fort Mill; sisters, Mrs. Novella Kiser, Miss Sadie Honeycutt, both of Concord; 10 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren. Memorials can be made to the Pineville Church of the Nazarene, 8416 Pineville-Matthews Highway, Pineville, N.C. 28134. Visitation is 7 to 9 tonight at McEwen, Charlotte chapel.The Charlotte News, Charlotte, North Carolina, June 3, 1985
