Death
Ella McManus FORT MILL - Mrs. Ella Mae Furr McManus, 73, of 3312 Terry's Road, died Thursday, July 13, 1995, at her home. The funeral will be 4 p.m. Monday at Flint Hill Baptist Church, with the Revs. Princeton Terry and Dan Griffin officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery. Mrs. McManus was a native of Mecklenburg County, N.C. She was a homemaker and a member of Solid Rock Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband, Ernest McManus; three sons, Lt. Col. Robert W. McManus of Japan, Terry Lee McManus of Rock Hill and Dennis Eugene McManus of Newport; three daughters, Barbara Ann Eddington of Fort Mill, Kathy Elizabeth McManus of Rock Hill, and Donna Reid Cherry of York; her brother, Rufus Lee Furr of Clover; three sisters, Margaret Helms and Zoredo Furr, both of Fort Mill, and Louise Covington of Rock Hill; 19 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Whitesell-Wolfe Funeral Home, and at other times at the home.The Herald, Rock Hill, South Carolina, July, 16, 1995
