Death
FORT MILL — Mrs. Margaret Furr Helms, 81, of 1017 J.W. Wilson Road died Saturday, Sept. 9, 2000, at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill. A graveside service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Unity Cemetery, with the Rev. Mickey Smith officiating. Mrs. Helms was the widow of Lewis Helms. A native of Fort Mill, she was a homemaker. Surviving are four sons, Cletus Helms and Wayme Helms, both of Fort Mill, Roger Helms of Indian Land and Harvey Helms of Rock Hill; two daughters, Dianne Hale and Elaine James, both of Fort Mill; two sisters, Zorado Furr of Fort Mill and Louise Covington of Rock Hill; 13 grandchildren; and eight great-grand-children. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at Fort Mill Funeral Home.The Herald, Rock Hill, South Carolina, September 11, 2000
