Lydia (6), dau. of Joshua (5), b. July 26, 1745, m. David Gleason of Oxford, and settled in Ward. He was s. of Thomas (3), gr.-s. of Thomas (2), and gt.-gr.-s of Thomas (1) ** Thomas (1) Gleason was son of Thomas of Sudbury, and grandson of Thomas of Watertown and Charlestown.** Esther(2) Gleason, 1st wife of Ebenezer (5) Meriam, was his great-aunt; Susannah (3) G., w. of Joshua (5) Meriam, was his aunt; Ruth (4) G., who m. Ephraim (6), s. of Ebenezer (5) Meriam, was his sis., so that his w. appears to have been his cousin. His s., Ezra (5) Gleason, m. 1st, his cousin Eunice (7) dau of James (6), and gr-dau of Joshua (5) Meriam; and he m 2d, Marcy (7), sis. of Eunice (7). Eunice (6) Gleason, dau of Ezra (5) and Eunice (7), became the w. of Cyril (8), gt gr son of Ebenezer (5) Meriam, David (4) Gleason was a farmer, and deacon of the church.
