Josiah Putnam was born before 2 Oct 1687 in Salem, Essex, MA (242, 243) He was baptized on 2 October 1687 in Salem. (244, 245, 246). He died on 21 Oct 1751 (247, 248). Josiah is not mentioned in his father's will, so the entry of his death on 21 Oct 1751, as Eben states was provided by Dr. Poore, is probably in error. Eben indicates Josiah may have died young.
