Died in childbirth. Married John Yager. He married a Marie Wendt who died in childbirth. The child was named Louise. Louise lived and grew up with the Adam Yager, Sr family and married Bill Ahles. The mother did not die in childbirth with Louise as she was born before her mother died. It may have been a different sibling if she did die in childbirth. However I can't get the dates to work out so am not sure she was wife of John Yager. See notes under John Yager and Louise

There is a record in St Mary's church records for Joannem Jaeger married to Mariam Went on 1890/11/04 ( 4 Nov 1890)

Grma Ethel said that "Uncle John (my dad's brother) married Marie Wendt who was mother's sister, Mary's, daughter. She died in childbirth with Louise and Aunt Lizzy raised the baby."
John Yager's children were born in: John 1882, Mary born in 1884 and Louise born 27 Sept 1891. At the Stanger Cemetery, near Rockville road, 6 miles west of St Cloud, the gravestone for Mary says "Maria Aug 18, 1873 - Oct 2, 1891". Her death date would line up with Ethel's story since Louise was born 27 Sept 1891.

But there is a record in the Catholic Church that says: St Mary's church records for Joannem Jaeger married to Mariam Went on 1890/11/04 ( 4 Nov 1890). If this was her then he must have been married before. She would have been too young to have been the mother of John and Mary, John's other children. More research.

There is a record: St Mary's Church Bapt, Marr, Death p 252: Maria Jaeger died 1886/06/13 spouse Joannis Jaeger age 26 years

When Louise applied for social security she listed her parents as John Jaeger and Mary Wendt.

1885 Census his wife was Mary
in 1890 he married Mary Went on 4 Nov 1890. (Minn cert 29295027). (There is a record in St Mary's church records for Joannem Jaeger married to Mariam Went on 1890/11/04 ( 4 Nov 1890)) She died in childbirth with daughter Louise on 2 Oct 1891(the gravestone for Mary says "Maria Aug 18, 1873 - Oct 2, 1891"). Louise was born on 27 Sept 1891.
The first wife also named Mary (1885 MN State Census) died 13 June 1886 (There is a record: St Mary's Church Bapt, Marr, Death p 252: Maria Jaeger died 1886/06/13 spouse Joannis Jaeger age 26 years). This is the wife in the 1885 census. They were married before 1882 and had two children John (born 1882) and Mary (born 1884).
