Found a Friedrick Wentz, age 24, born Prussia living with John Herzberger in 1870 census. Occupation farmer. Mary was the oldest dau of John, age 12 in 1870.
Frederick (35) and Mary (22) were married in 1870's and farmed in Rockville Twp not far from Charles Yaeger family. He changed spelling of his name from Wentz to Wendt. They had 2 children in 1880 - Mary C (6) and John (1) Also had another child who died. By 1900 John only one living. He farmed with his father. Fredrick known as Fritz.
In 1900 Fritz was 53 b Oct 1846 in Germany and Mary was 42. They had been married 26 years and of 3 children 1 was living. They farmed in Rockville Twp. Owned their farm.
