He left his real property to his wife, Elizabeth; and 10 pounds each to his brother-in-law, William Denn and his wife ( John's sister), his mother, Mrs, Alice Lane, his mother-in-law, Mrs. Alice Howel. He left 5 pounds each to the children of William and Mary Denn. His wife, Elizabeth, was to have theuse of his silver tankard, tumbler, and twelve spoons during her life and then they were go to her children, Charles and Elizabeth Saltonstall.Endnotes
