Henry Reasoner

[I had a problem, concerning a marriage date of Henry & Mary Shepler as 20 Aug 1778, but that was solved from an online database which showed that date as Mary's birth. The marriage took place 18 years later.]

Henry & Mary moved from Pennsylvania to Gurnsey County Ohio in 1803 and helped settle New Concord. His father, Peter, came and spent the winter and helped clear the land and hunted. The first farm was sold and he moved a little further west to Norwich. He sold this farm to Stephen Hill was was married to Henry's sister Sarah, in 1815. He then bought a farm known as the "Dugan Place". He sold this property and moved to Morrow County, Ohio, in 1834.
There were 11 children - Peter Shepler was the third child in the family.
