Peter Shepler Reasoner & Elizabeth Hammond had six children born between 1825 and 1836. Samuel Perry was apparently the last child of Elizabeth. There were 4 children by the second wife and 7 children born to Peter and Hannah Burdine.

The statement seen in databases that he was born in Bucks Co PA must be incorrect. I believe he was more likely born in Westmoreland Co, formed from Bedford in 1773 which had in turn been formed from Cumberland in 1771, where his older siblings were born. Bucks County is on the opposite side of Pennsylvania and there is no indication the family ever lived there.
