Reba E. (Hays) Lockhart died on January 27, 1935 at the age of 24 years and 10 months. She was the wife of William Othello Lockhart and the mother of Billye Jean and Ronald Wayne Lockhart, who were 3 and 4 years old at the time of her death. She was the daughter of William Henry "Will" and Etta (West) Hays.
When Reba's daughter married, her name became Billye Jean (Lockhart) Hopkins.
Reba's siblings included; Eugene Sanford Hays, Clara Vivian Hays, William Clarence "Bud" Hays, Bennie Russell Hays, John Q. Hays, Paul West Hays, Clinton Earl Hays, Josie Blanch Hays, Donald Edwin Wallace Hays, Champ Hadley Hays, Mary Margaret Hays, Archie Theodore Hays and Dorothy Euldine Hays and Anna Ruth Hays.
Reba Lockhart was preceded in death by her father; William Henry "Will" Hays and her sister; Anna Ruth Hays. Anna was born March 7, 1909 and died April 4, 1909, in Crawford County, Arkansas. Both, her father and sister are interred at Pevehouse Cemetery.
Reba's husband, William Othello Lockhart, was born September 12, 1907 and died March 13, 1985, and he is interred at Woodland Cemetery, Sand Springs, Oklahoma, with the Hopkins family plots.
The descendants of Reba Elizabeth (Hays) Lockhart include her grandchildren; Reba Jane Hopkins Ludiker, Deborah Dean Hopkins Pitts, Harold Dean Hopkins Jr, John Christopher Hopkins, and Ronald Wayne Lockhart Jr. To date, Reba Lockhart's descendants have extended to 10 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great-grandchildren.
