Found on Bedford Co Tax Rolls 1791, through 1824 as far as I checked. Seems to be the son who stayed on the home place! Dabney Poindexter appears on Tax Rolls beginning in 1818-1824; James Poindexter in 1819-1820; John Poindexter 1821-1823.
