I've looked for her family in Tennessee
1860, Putnam Co TN, Hh 1232
O. P. Apple, 43, living next door to M. D. Apple, age 45.
Elizabeth J., 42.
Robt G. 20, Cynthia C. 17, Nancy A. 15, George W. 12, Samuel Q. 9, Mary S. 6, Frances A. age 3, William age 1, and Nancy A. Burton, age 75, and J. M. Burton, male child age 6.
Sydney Apple, age 24, was next with his wife Nancy age 17.
The next household was that of C. F. Burton, age 48.
In 1870 - the family was in Smith Co, TN with the father still listed as O. P. but the mother as Mary, age 45. Frances was listed as age 12.
I didn't find this family in 1880 - nor am I sure it's the right family.


I have since discovered that Fannie married Samuel Robinson after the death of Newton and apparently about the time of the birth of daughter Mary Ethel, and she appears as head of household in 1900 with all the children dittoed as Robinsons. Dist 10, Smith Co TN, Hh 113

"Fannie" listed as head of household in 1910 Census in Fannin Co TX. States she had 7 children, 6 of them living. She was age 54, widowed. Ganie & Ola live with her, as does a son Charley? and daughter Ethel.
