Seemed to have a different name in 1860. Curious. Smith Co TN, Hh 903

In 1870, he was again Elisha. Smith Co TN, hh 34

Newton Dillard, son, age 32. Fannie, age 24, daughter-in-law. Elisha P. age 2, grandson.

I have never found Newton & Fannie in the 1900 Census, but here are other members of his family.

"Fannie" listed as head of household in 1910 Census in Fannin Co TX. States she had 7 children, 6 of them living. She was age 54, widowed. Ganie & wife Ola lived with her, as did a son Charley, age 14, and daughter Ethel, age 12.
