Stephen Comstock

Stephen married Hannah Aldrich. His date of birth is also seen as 13 Aug 1758. I believe the 1748 year is correct, if Arioch his son was born in 1770. Arioch is also some seven years older than the next child so it could also be that date which is wrong. Regardless of which is the error, Stephen must have been older than eleven or twelve when Arioch was born.
He is said to have moved from Smithfield RI to North Greenfield NY about 1803. The Smithfield census of 1774: Stephen Comstock had 1m and 1f over age 16, 1m below 16.
2 Mar 1804 Stephen Comstock & wife Hannah of Smithfield deeded 100 acres to Simeon Thornton.
It is said that the graves of this family lie in the ancient Quaker cemetery on the edge of Woonsocket, in unmarked graves.
