Arnold married 7 Apr 1796 to Huldah Buffum. By 1801 they had moved to Greenfield, NY.
12 Jan 1797 Arnold Comstock and wife Huldah of Smithfield, RI, deeded 1/4 of the homestead "where grandfather Hazadiah now resides and which he gave to my father Stephen".
Arnold and his brother Arioch were named in the will of their Grandfather Hazediah in 1792 [not proved until 1801].
The only Springport in NY is in Cayuga Co.
