Arioch Comstock

The birth of Arioch as given here is likely wrong by several years. He appears to have been seven years older than the second-born child and his father would have been only age twelve.
Arioch married 25 Dec 1800, Joanna Aldrich, daughter of Samuel Aldrich. Her will was dated 4 May 1865 and gave bequests to daughters Joanna A. Comstock, Mary E. Lapham, to sons Fenner & Arnold, to granddaughters Frances E. & Abby M. Comstock, the rest to son Welcome and daughter Joanna.
Children were Welcome, b. 1803, married Chloe Mowry; Mary Elma, b. 1808, married Thomas J. Lapham, d. 1895; Fenner, b. 1813, died 1876, unmarried, Arnold, b. 1816, married Eliza C. Tucker, and Joanna b. 1823, married William J. Marsh, no issue.
