27 Dec. 1802 Josiah Pace of Satin James Parish, Mecklenburg Co., VA.
Son Newsom Pace 25 pounds lent him in payment of a piece of land in Bedford County.
Son Stephen Pace 25 pounds lent in payment of land in Mecklenburg County.
To daughter Susanna Wilkins one horse and feather bed and furniture.
To granddaughter Polly Allen 22 pounds after the decease of my [wife] Lewcey Pace.
To my daughter-in-law [step-daughter] Elizabeth Stround one feather bed and furniture and such clothes as thought proper by her mother.
To my wife Lewcey Pace the residue of my estate. After her death the remaining property real and personal to be sold and after granddaughter Polly Allen gets her legacy, then the residue equally between my four young children, namely Lenny Pace, John Pace, Lewcey Pace and William Pace.
