Genforum: July 17, 2001 Hi Beverly, I'm trying to focus on Obadiah's son John (b.1759) as well. He and his brother Obadiah(jr) bought some land together in Albemarle co. Virginia and they were both listed as living in that county. When John sold his portion to his brother later on, he was listed as living in Washington Co. TN. This was before their mother Ann Thompson died (around 1810). After that, Obadiah moved off to Barren co. Ky, but I haven't found any more of John.
