Eleonora "Maynora" Patin was born October 4, 1905 in Iota, Acadia Parish, Louisiana, to Becherman "Aristide" Patin and Philomene "Lucille" Guidry Patin.
Maynora married Nelson Morris Jean Higginbotham 6 Oct 1921 in Crowley, Acadia Parish, Louisiana. They had two daughters: Lildred Ruth Higginbotham and Gladys Manily Higginbotham.
Nelson was driving Maynora and their two daughters to take his wife, Maynora to have her 3rd baby when they had a accident on the way, what was called Death Curve. All four of them were injured and Maynora died shortly after the accident. No one knew how to save a unborn child then, so the baby died as well.
Those left to cherish her memory were her Husband; Children; Parents; Siblings; friends and all who knew her.
