The "Ewing Genealogy" book has a first marriage to Ann Reed in 1812 and then gives 2 children. Has a marriage date of 1840 for Sallie D. Porter (calls her Sallie McKae). The Logan Co marriage book has only one marriage for William Y. C. - to Sally (Whitsitt) Porter in 1814. I believe the latter is correct.
Another researcher has that William Y. C. married (1) Ann "Nancy" Read who died 12 Apr 1812 in Logan Co - the marriage was 12 Oct 1810 - she was the daughter of John Read and Sarah Foster (2) married Sarah "Sally" Whitsitt Porter, widow, and (3) married Sally W. McCray on 12 Apr 1836 in Lexington County, Missouri.
